Thursday, February 16, 2012 - This Extra Brut has bright acidity and lemony nose but also has and weighty though fleeting honeyed flavor with some toasted hazelnuts and a warm yeast biscuit on the mid-palate. Tasty dimensions to this wine. Enjoyed it and if it wasn't a school night I would have had another glass. I just kept thinking while drinking this bubbly that it would go well with shrimp dishes simply prepared in butter and garlic sauce or mushroom turnovers, crab and bacon bites.
