Sunday, March 3, 2024 - Pretty nose that felt a lot lighter than the other Gouges wines in comparison. Cherries, strawberries, and less of the spice note on the nose. Good acidity with firm structure, more cherries, berries, and forest floor on the palate. Nice finish. This needs quite a bit more time but it's a promising wine. Much more backwards than the 2009 but not as much as the 2012. This should be much better in 10+ years. 92-93+
