Friday, September 20, 2013 - Bright fresh nose of wild strawberries, cola and spring flowers. Palate shows some nice refinement, plushiness, red fruits and verve. Strawberries, red raspberries, red currant and more are here (The nose is worth the 30 bucks alone). Its lively and bright with some awesome mouthfeel. After about 30 mintes this really showed its best; frangipani, sassafras and exotic tea leaf within some wonderfully framed tannins. Acidity is spot-on and finish long. I was jonesing for this all week and this one did not disappoint. A great deal for $29. I will grab a few more.
