Monday, July 29, 2013 - The color is a medium red plum; the nose is dust, cherries and boysenberry. The taste starts out with a tart fruit and then shifts to a tart dry tannin with sweet tone on the side. The tart stays in the mouth for minutes. I’d say this will continue to improve for another few years with the acidity that is present. Not really much spice at all in this Zin.
