Monday, January 14, 2013 - Every once in a while I have a wine which just makes me grin. This was one of those wines. Beautiful medium to dark ruby color. Nose of violets and earth. Beautiful black cherry, and berries on the palate. Fairly viscous mouth feel. Medium to long finish with a hint of wood or stems towards the finish which adds interest but is not intrusive. This could go for a few more years without a problem. Certainly over delivers for the price.
