Wednesday, July 30, 2014 - Tasted at a Washington Cab party along side 2007 Betz Pere de Famille, 2009 Figgins, 2009 Gramercy Columbia Valley, 2006 Andrew Will Champoux, 2007 Delille Harrison Hill, 2005 Quilceda Creek.

It was the favorite for 3 of the 8 folks (highest percentage of any wine).

Words like "lovely", "Awesome" were used. The wine was decanted for 2 hours one day earlier and returned to bottle. A good decant is highly recommended, as the wine is tight upon opening.

The aromatics of the wine are noticably better than the others. Both beautiful and complex. Flavors are rich and well integrated. Nice moderately long finish.

Of interest, we tasted effectively on day-2. Day 3 and 4 tastings showed that this wine held up really well - boding well for a more aging.
