Tuesday, January 1, 2008 - Very dark with a reddish edge. On day 1, nose is pretty muted with subtle fruit notes. Medium bodied with a nice grip, fruity entry and lively (a little excessive) acidity. Medium finish. After 4 days (forgot it in the fridge) in vaccum it is very different… and surprisingly nicer… nose is animal musky with mushroom scents. Fruit is a little hidden, but the wine is much smoother. Medium-Long finish, but a little too hot. Try again in a year or two.
