90 Points

Tuesday, December 1, 2015 - Deep dark color and big nose of black fruit jam with a hint of charred oak. On the palate this has a soft initial texture but then the tannins kick in. Very good balance of cherry and dark fruit with a finish that lingers in your mouth like a shot of espresso. Incredibly long and tasty. Overall, I am impressed with this wine as great tempranillo. The only negative is the high alcohol, which you can feel the heat, but not a big detractor from the overall integration of the wine.
