Monday, July 16, 2012 - I was a huge fan of the 2009, though now unsure about the 2010 vintage. It open with aromas and flavors reminiscent of a light, inexpensive Chilean Cab... with pronounced green nuances :( After two hours, some ripe fruit did emerge, though the green earthy component still lingered in the background. Maybe it's just going through a phase or this bottle is off... the texture was pleasant, with medium body, balanced acid and light, dusty tannins... very different from the 2009... just my opinion though, maybe some will like this better... I'm undecided at this point... time will tell... maybe it just needs some serious air to come together at this point? ... the last glass was best, with mineral and lead pencil emerging...
