Wednesday, January 3, 2007 - Pale/medium garnet core, mahogany rim. Gently spicy nose, forest floor and some bilberry fruit. Medium bodied on the palate, resolved tannins - soft, gently spicy with bilberry and forest floor. Not hugely concentrated but well balanced acidity and an attractive, slightly savoury, gamey finish. Very drinkable village burgundy, good now and perhaps for another 2-3 years.
