Saturday, November 25, 2023 - An incredible, deep, complex, sweet and youthful expression of Barolo. Roses, tar, rose hip, pomegranate, blueberry infused goodness. Elegant, profound, pure and sublime. Like an outstanding Chambolle 1er Cru, may be even approaching the Grand Cru level.
The levels of ripeness, freshness, purity and depth are off the charts here. On the palate it is the unimaginably velvety textures of the finest grained tannins that really draws your attention. The acids while creating a firm spine, are unbelievably harmonious and suave as well.
Young but ready to go the wine has dozens of years ahead. Some of the best feminine Barolos I have had the pleasure to drink.
