Friday, April 7, 2017 - Medium-light garnet. Already expressive nose of tar, red fruit, roses, clay, spices. Elegant on the palate, Rinaldi is always more elegant than Monfortino, but tannins are still not to be underestimated. While alcohol is 14.5%, it remains light like many Barolo of the elegant 2008 vintage. A great Barolo, early drinking window. 96-97
