Wednesday, April 4, 2018 - Aged High End Bordeaux Blends (Jason P's, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red color with a 7mm transitional bricked margin. One hour decant, drank 1 glass over 2 hours. Drank next to the '84 Dominus. The Cos is much more fruit driven, complex dark fruits of cassis and boysenberry on the nose, scorched earth, pipe tobacco, smoke, wood. The palate is dense and concentrated, black cherry, plum, cassis, oak, scorched earth, round tannins, smoke and a bit sharp on the finish. 93+pts.
