However, the funk is still there and the wine underneath is marred by a fairly aggressive acidity. It's difficult when a wine has such wonderful fruit but is marred by problems like this. Ultimately, while not a bad wine, I really didn't enjoy this.

Edited to remove the rating (which was 86) and mark as flawed. Enough knowledgeable people seem to think this was a flawed bottle that I'm going to assume it was.
