Sunday, July 27, 2014 - Pop & poured. Lots of earth and pepper notes on the nose, backed by plum and blackberry. A touch of oak in there too. Really peppery on first sip, followed by juicy plum fruit, a zip of acidity and some chewy tannins. Finish is all fruit, and really making my mouth water. Nice wine, glad I have another couple bottles (as well as the 08 & 09) to follow.
