Friday, September 13, 2013 - I think this wine must have improved over the last year because tasting notes from 2012 look strange to me. I had a bottle with nice subtle spice on the nose and finish, berries on the palate; easy to drink but also worth savoring. Scoring it at 91 because of the eminently reasonable price, though the other tiers of Qupe's syrahs are certainly more noteworthy.
