91 Points

Thursday, October 25, 2012 - Stunning aromas of cool red berries, topsoil, fresh mint, and rose petal florals. The palate is intense but beautifully elegant, with interwoven brambly red fruit, earth, and violets overlying crushed gravel and delicate acidity. Delicious dried berries, cedar, chalk, and green herbs linger on the lengthy finish. Though this is fantastic now, there is a sense of underlying tension that bodes well for the cellar. Will check on the next one in five years. R&M 91
