Monday, February 3, 2014 - bright, vibrant ruby, very translucent. nose of high-toned red fruit, licorice, and pine. the palate shows the same profile of red fruit and anise/spice with great tension and acidity. the translucency belies this full-flavored wine. elegant and wonderful with dinner.
