Tuesday, September 26, 2017 - Enjoyable. Seeming more advanced than its 10 years of age. Deep ruby, bricking and ocre at the rim. Old leather, dried and preserved red fruits, earth, road tar and cinnamon on the nose. Also some dried tobacco leaf. Similar in the mouth. Below medium weight though with bright acidity. Dried red berries, soil, dry brushwood and creosote. A little umami soy. Rich with fully ripe tannins. Finishes dry and relatively long. Quite forward for a Produttori Riserva so therefore a good one to drink relatively young.
