Monday, January 26, 2015 - Nose: The nose here is more searching and mysterious with dark red cherries, raspberries, juniper berries, mushroom notes, licorice, roasted herbs, tobacco, leather, earth tones, and violets. Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with high acidity and chewy, high tannins. The structure is extremely youthful and a bit brooding, but there are lovely and darker tones of raspberries, dark red cherries, juniper berries, mushrooms, licorice, roasted herbs, earth tones, and violets.

Overall: This had a distinctive extra savoriness to it that some of the others in the lineup didn't. There is excellent depth, but it is also holding back a bit right now.
