Tuesday, January 25, 2022 - Not a great cork situation, in fact it went straight down the bottle on just a light touch. The wine is intact, however. Red, ruby color. Understated aromas of roses, red fruits, forest floor on the nose. Gentle, soft and round on the palate, tannins resolved now. Tertiary flavors and soft red fruit. Absolutely lovely, mature burgundy with plenty of life left.
