Friday, September 19, 2014 - Upper shoulder fill, half crumbled/saturated cork. 12.2 alc. $29. dark brick tinge to see through wine. Amazing development after 10 mins, continuing, with a slight hickup of umami (subjective), red fruit, and, in a good way, a blood, game, iodiney sort of thing...again, in a good way. Some Bordeaux nose, but wth in a lighter, acid driven (integrated), but also flavorful palate. Regardless, it's a steal having a drinkable wine that's 44 years old for under 30 and not just for novelty factor, but that is a bonus!
