Well made but uninspiring. Could use a greater expression of fruit or brightened by acidity. Just lacks anything exciting. $13. Light berry and touch of melon. One and done.

Cork flawless. Started powerful burnt rubber that overpowered fruit, there but muted. Could be confused with pauillac. Missing mid palate.Evolved steadily to have earth tones recede and fruit emerge in beautiful balance. Mid-palate evolves into being, and finesse replaces the gruff. One of the best I've had in a while.

Upper shoulder fill, half crumbled/saturated cork. 12.2 alc. $29. dark brick tinge to see through wine. Amazing development after 10 mins, continuing, with a slight hickup of umami (subjective), red fruit, and, in a good way, a blood, game, iodiney sort of thing...again, in a good way. Some Bordeaux nose, but wth in a lighter, acid driven (integrated), but also flavorful palate. Regardless, it's a steal having a drinkable wine that's 44 years old for under 30 and not just for novelty factor, but that is a bonus!
