Saturday, September 22, 2018 - Pnp for lunch and then finished remaining half of bottle for dinner. This is well done given the challenges of the vintage. Good acidity and not showing any of the overripe/burned fruit notes some other 07 BdM show. Not the most complex BdM but a classic profile and works well with food. The remaining wine 6h later darkens visibly and shows some more balsamic and dark fruit notes but also loses some of the freshness. Would pnp and drink over the next 3-5 years as this is not going to improve with further bottle age.
