Sunday, January 13, 2013 - Almost colorless. Expressive nose of peach pits, stoney mineral, wet grass, anise, and light tropical notes. The palate is a somewhat diluted version of the nose with nice acidity and a short finish. Delicious with my favorite meal of sockeye salmon grilled on a natural wood fire. The viura varietal is a real change of pace from your typical whites, and this is a good representation of this Rioja grape.
