Saturday, March 16, 2013 - This was everything a oaky chardonnay should be, without being a chardonnay. This viura has a smokey nose, bold citrus flavours, bright acidity, with a long finish. This should improve in bottle another year or 2. Only reason I don't score it 90 or higher is I drank it too cold, and did not pair it properly. This would be great with creamy pasta sauces, Thai or Indian food.
