Monday, April 13, 2015 - Restrained nose (or maybe it's my nose that's still slightly restrained by the aftereffects of a cold) of citrus and a suggestion of walnuts. On the palate it picks up apple notes and has pleasing contrasts: round and a bit creamy, yet with bracing acidity and some minerality. This is a very good value and will make a fine summer sipper. I was afraid it would be over the hill, but it seems to have the stuffing to be good for at least another 18 months. No need to wait, however.
