Wednesday, January 25, 2017 - Seems to be in its preferred window. Baked apple pie, flecked with stones, nuts and spice. Lovely stream of fresh acids keeps the flavors well delineated; the wine seems to have a natural timing all its own and it works - like a well choreographed dance scene. The finish is pretty textbook Morlet, long and satisfying. I see no reason to continue to hold this as it's giving a lot right now and future promises will likely come at some expense. Lovely drop. recommended
