Thursday, March 29, 2012 - Initially served too cold, which considerably muted the wine, but as it warmed, it blossomed. The nose hints at a lighter styled wine, with notes of pear, peach and grapefruit. Indeed, the palate entry is light and citric but this expands slowly on the palate to display a deceptive oily richness. A lovely lemon, tangerine and ginger finish, which is moderately long. Not much minerality, but a saline hint adds complexity. Extremely enjoyable and food-friendly. Bedrock is making some wonderful white wines.
