Monday, May 12, 2014 - this has taken a while to come around. first hour open was pretty tough going. showed overly nail polish and some too aldehydic notes in the aromas and/or palate. still has the nail polish going on the palate, apple fruit. maybe note the soundest example of this wine, but i'll be damned if I won't see if it comes around to something. still enjoyable, but just a bit off perhaps.
