Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - Again, showing so so well for a Zin with this high an alcohol level.
Beautiful dark blackberries and black cherry, milky chocolate and delicious roast meat, smoke and some dark gray pepper.
The palate shows nice finesse and isn't too hot or dense. There is tons of fruit to hold up the alcohol and more gorgeous spice and meat qualities show through on the palate. I can't recommend this winery only bottling enough. If you're out West pick up at least three bottles for the cellar. Should age well too, but who will wait to find out, really?
