Saturday, April 2, 2016 - Only about an hour decant, but needed much more. Tannic and grippy with a solid structure and good blue and black fruit backing. The tannins were just too overwhelming for me the first day and only slightly better on day 2. This is a wine that I feel like has the potential to be special and has all the right elements, it just isn't there yet. Maybe in another 3 to 5 years. I have one more bottle, hopefully it will be better the next time.
