Saturday, February 14, 2015 - Gotta be honest; this bottle was not nearly as good as the last one from nearly a year ago. Make no mistake, it is still quite good. Just not the exceptional that I remember from the last tasting. It seemed far less bright and fruit driven than our last tasting. It almost seemed as though it was in some sort of "wine aging doldrums" - no longer young and powerful, but not yet aged and refined. Still have one bottle remaining. I will hold out (or try to!) for a couple of years and see what we get at that time.
