The nose is beautiful with spice and fruit, although not exactly powerful. The tannins were light, of course since it's a lighter wine, but there was enough structure there to carry it nicely through the evening. I believe this is a really good wine with which to try a Petite Sirah if you're curious and don't want to spend much to do so. In short, not a complex wine, but worth a try at this price point.
