Monday, September 10, 2012 - Imported by Dionysus Distributing, Raleigh, NC. 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. 12.5% abv. Synthetic cork that was somewhat difficult to extract. Medium salmon/coral color. Acidic, slightly tart red fruits, pomegranate, watermelon, unripe strawberry with citrus notes. Versatile with food. Good with both baked and fried chicken. Would also work with pork or ham dishes and possibly with pasta dishes such as ravioli or lasagna. A rose' wine that I enjoyed a few times this summer.
