100% Cabernet Franc. 12.5% alcohol. Badass artificial cork--was hard to drill down using a winged-lever corkscrew; the cork came out cleanly but then I had to use a pair of pliers to get the cork off the corkscrew. The cork would not go back into the bottle easily so I used a glass stopper left from a Riesling. Sort of an "oeil de perdrix" (eye of the partridge) color. It might also be described as a light rosy color with clarity. It was a bit spritzy. The rose' wine still tastes fresh and young but probably should be consumed over the next six months. I would describe the flavors as pomegranate and citrus--others might liken it to other red berries. This performed well with pork egg rolls and with ham. This was one of my favorite rose' wines last summer. My final bottle.

Imported by Dionysus Distributing, Raleigh, NC. 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. 12.5% abv. Synthetic cork that was somewhat difficult to extract. Medium salmon/coral color. Acidic, slightly tart red fruits, pomegranate, watermelon, unripe strawberry with citrus notes. Versatile with food. Good with both baked and fried chicken. Would also work with pork or ham dishes and possibly with pasta dishes such as ravioli or lasagna. A rose' wine that I enjoyed a few times this summer.

Highly recommend this somewhat unusual cabernet franc rose and what a GREAT QPR this wine has! Dark salmon colored, clear, very pure and crisp and what a pleasure to drink out on the deck at the end of a long hot day. Enjoyed last night with our pastor and his wife. Nose crisp, minerally with dark cherry tones, primary flavors included cherry, strawberry, well structured acid and an underlying more serious almost earthy tone. Very good rose.
