I might think Syrah on the nose too, with concentrated black raspberry, black cherry, boysenberry fruit tones, with black and green peppercorns, flintstone, sweet hay in a nice complex melange. Medium body with a sweet but somewhat flatter fruit profile than promised by the nose. Seems to show more alcohol than the 13% labeled, not out of hand, but a glycerol-ly mouthfeel. Hint of Campari. Working well with pizza. Structure to me is more from acid than tannin, but neither is strong. It is tasty and satisfying. 88-90
