Saturday, November 16, 2013 - Cork was soft but crumbled upon opening. Filtered and decanted. Nice dark maroon color.

Initial taste: good tannins, cherries, herbs, smoke, leather. Medium body and finish. Surprisingly good.

After 30 min breathing in decanter: mustiness coming out, fruit still resent, tannins softening, medium body and finish. Still quite nice.

After 2 hours: further softening but mustiness has blown off, still nice fruit, very enjoyable. A real pleasure to taste a wine that aged so well.
