93 Points

Wednesday, December 22, 2021 - Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Pauillac: Focused dark berries and oak in the bouquet. Graphite as well. On the palate dark berries, black olives, chocolate, tobacco, some green impressions, oak, a bit rustic. Firm acidity and firm, drying tannin. The bottle I had Sept 30th was popped and poured. The note above is about a bottle which had a five hour decant. Plenty of future in this wine. Waiting another 5 – 8+ years will be rewarding. 92 – 93++
