Thursday, February 7, 2013 - Decanted an hour or two. Lovely purple purple color. Bright and vivid. Gorgeous color, stood out from many wines.
Candied aromas of raspberry, strawberry, some blood orange, touches of cotton candy, bubble gum. Very juicy.
Palate shows some nice nuance but still lots of fruit up front. Not a lot going on in the palate, but nice and not overdone as many Mouvedre.

    2/19/2013 2:44:00 PM - Sounds like a good wine, but I don't think I'd ever guess "Mourvedre" based on your note. Did you, too, find it hard to believe that Mourvedre could behave like this?
