Monday, February 20, 2023 - Sixth bottle from an eight bottle (part) lot purchased at auction in 2019. The previous bottles from this case were all pretty light and transparent, this bottle seems different. The basic character is there, with the minerally freshness and the floral and leafy notes from the Cabernet Franc, but it comes across as fuller and rounder, and with riper fruit with a darker pitch. Quite puzzling - the difference is marked, but I don't think that there is an identifiable fault to this bottle.
