Saturday, February 19, 2022 - Wine dinner with friends. Decanted for 5h. This was our WOTN amongst some highly anticipated bottles! Our notes from 2018 mostly hold. A little less funk on the nose this time. The structure was well balanced, with both acid and tannins fully integrated and supporting the intense, complex flavors and full mouthfeel very well. As predicted, this is aging very well. Arguably peaking now, but should hold very well for another 10 years. Drink now to 2032. Outstanding 96.
