90 Points

Saturday, October 5, 2013 - Monopole: Healthy pale ruby with bricking and good rim fading; pot pouri aromas, light dried herbs, dried flower petals, light brown spice, delicate, beautiful nose; silky, tannins fully resolved, slight small forest berry notes, nice bit of acidity in the finish to keep it alive, but not much left in the mouth, a bit thin and weak mid-palate. Lovely, no faults, but about 8-10 years past its prime for this vintage, although I would not complain in finishing this bottle. Just not at $350.
