88 Points

Thursday, November 22, 2012 - Drank this one while preparing Thanksgiving stuffing. This wine was popped and poured. Poured a VERY LIGHT yellow with a green tinge. Nose is sharp, a little washed out. The palate is green, young young sour apple, with some tartness right up front. The wine is quite crisp in the middle, where a grapefruit and kiwi showed up, and abruptly finished without any real aftertaste. Not very complex, but I wasn't really expecting it either. This is a good wine to drink out in the 100 degree heat, and probably should have been enjoyed a little earlier in the year. I give it an 88 instead of an 86 because the QPR is quite good on this bottle, and it did serve the purpose for which it was utilized! Drink now.
