Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - Really nice Pommard from a producer that nobody ever talks about. Right off the bat this is richly fruited and enveloping on the palate - not the tough Pommard stereotype at all. There is a succulent gamey inflection to the fruit and a touch of gravelly earth (though the latter is nowhere near as strong as in the Clos de Vergers we opened next).
