Thursday, February 4, 2016 - Delightful. Aromatic - fruit, florals with a hint of anise. On the palate, shows some sappiness, hint of sweet with little earth or gaminess. Decent acidity that's quite secondary to the fruit. Muted tannins. Finish is on the long side. Lacks a bit of complexity. Will probably improve over the next few years, but doesn't seem to have the backbone for extended aging. That said, it's very pleasing for current drinking. 90+ points.
