Friday, November 9, 2012 - I believe this particular vintage has quite a bit too much acid for the type of Chardonnay it represents. Not that it is a bad thing, but it is not what I expected when I asked for a round, full bodied Chard! The acid exhibited by this wine at this time will cut through any food good and bad, but will allow this wine to age for an easy five years before showing age. The Vanilla notes are very sharp and angular. The fruit is very tight and citrus in character and more Sauv Blanc like than a Chard or Burg! EG WineArchitect, #Stonestreet
