Saturday, February 16, 2019 - Still pretty closed aromatically, but so full of potential and such a perfect texture and mouthfeel. Notes of rose petals, violets, red berries, mint and some tar. It‘s medium+ bodied, feels almost weightless in the context of Barolo, has medium-high acidity and medium-high tannin that is excellent quality and very silky. Excellent length. A still slightly reductive but superb Bricco delle Viole. I would still give this another 3-4 years.
