Saturday, October 19, 2013 - CT Texas VI - Return to San Antonio; 10/18/2013-10/19/2013 (San Antonio): Served double blind. On the nose, bright red fruits, leather, spice, bit of heat. On the palate leathery with rich red fruit, herbs, spice, vanilla. Finishes with chewy tannins and some nice acidity, the heat up front disappeared. Guessed Garnacha FWIW. Like Tres Picos, hard to beat the value here.
