Sunday, May 8, 2016 - Beautiful ruby red with browning rim, nose was pure Haut Brion, plum, vanilla oak - palate was long on the finish, perfectly integrated tannins, still a little plum fruit not pithy but tertiary notes of tobacco appearing. While this is perfectly drinking now, I don't think it will improve - best to drink up in next couple of years. 4/5

5/17/2016 3:52:00 AM - Thanks for your note and rating. We tried two times in 2015, and we thought easily sipping until 2020. We appreciate the additional thoughts as we have a few bottles resting comfortably in the cellar. We plans to knock out one each year...perhaps ending 2019...patience is a tempting virtue!
